Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are, and What This Policy Covers
InferaHealth is operated by InferaHealth Pty Ltd (ABN pending) (“InferaHealth”, “we”, “us”, “our”), based in New South Wales, Australia. We are building clinic management software for complementary healthcare practitioners. The platform is not yet open, so this policy covers this website only. A full platform policy, covering practitioner accounts and client health information, will replace it before practitioner access opens.
2. What We Collect, and Why
Waitlist and questions. If you join the waitlist we collect your email address and whether you are a practitioner or a student. If you send us a question, we also collect your first name if you give it, and your message. We use these only to answer you and to tell you about access to InferaHealth. We don’t share them, sell them, or use them for marketing automation, and we won’t add you to any other mailing list. Please don’t include health information in a message; we don’t need it.
Website logs. Our hosting provider records standard request logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) when you visit. We use these only to operate and secure the site. To stop the form being flooded we also keep a scrambled copy of your IP address for an hour, then clear it.
Typefaces. This site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address to serve them.
Nothing else. We don’t ask for health information anywhere on this site, run no advertising or social-media trackers, and currently run no analytics.
3. Cookies and Similar Storage
Strictly necessary. One item in your browser records the cookie choice you made, so the banner doesn’t ask you again, and our host may set security cookies. No third party sees these.
Preferences (off by default). If you allow preference cookies, the colour theme you pick on the landing page is stored so the page opens that way next time. If you don’t, the theme still changes for your visit but nothing is remembered.
Analytics (off by default, and currently not running). No analytics are loaded on this site today. If we enable them, they will not load unless you have allowed them, and they will never be linked to your email.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time from “Cookie settings” in the page footer.
4. Where Your Information Is Stored
Waitlist details and questions are stored in our database in Sydney, Australia. Email between us, including your question, is delivered through a transactional email provider located in the United States. Our website host may process request logs outside Australia as part of operating its network. We do not otherwise disclose your information overseas.
5. How Long We Keep It
We keep waitlist details and questions until access opens and our notification emails have been sent, or until you ask us to remove you, whichever comes first. Email privacy@inferahealth.com.au at any time and we will delete your details.
6. Your Rights
Under the Privacy Act and the Australian Privacy Principles, you can:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct or delete it
- Withdraw any consent you have given, including cookie choices
- Complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au if you believe we have breached the APPs
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top reflects the current version.
